The project
Private LTE network for Kingston Freeport Terminal (KFTL), a CMA CGM group company, with 24/7 level 1 and level 2 support, as prime contractor for the Nokia solution.
Project scope
- The first private wireless network at a Caribbean port, deployed with Nokia.
- Nokia Digital Automation Cloud (DAC) and Nokia MXIE edge computing.
- Critical communications for the terminal operating system; connectivity for more than 100 vehicle-mounted terminals, cranes and trucks, more than 100 tablets and 260 push-to-talk over LTE devices.
- 24/7 level 1 and level 2 support.
